‘It’s really overwhelming for one to live up to the standards set by a totally fictional flawless movie character’
Almost if not all of us are hypnotics. The proper authority saw to it that the proper belief should be induced, and the people believed properly. Just like how Cobb in Inception went about his business.
The self-hate epidemic, the media, and the music you listen to, your favourite rapper and musicians have somehow managed to filter through into our personalities, and they control perception and trends. They are the holders of the rule book, the trend setters. Wait till you hear Bae complain that you do not comply in accordance to Sam Smith’s lyrics. Or Harvey Spector would have done this or that. It’s really overwhelming for one to live up to the standards set by a totally fictional flawless movie character.
It has really come to that, has life become so unbearable that we’d rather create a fictional environment of a utopian nature? Just try run through your girlfriend’s Instagram Monday pictures and see how many fictional characters have made it to her man crush Monday list. Ever since 2 Chains released ‘Birthday Song’ and Nicki dropped ‘Anaconda’, guys decided having an ass should be standard, squats have become the order of the day lol. Squeeze those butt chicks ladies…. what about the infinite insecurities Hollywood is consistently inflicting upon young women via the beauty industry using mockery advertising that always seems to encourage self-hate.
We’ve somehow lost our real selves trying to chase an unrealistic dream, over a million stories to end up the same. You will learn, as you get older, that rules are meant to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Embrace simplicity, bully the status quo & strive to evolve.
The below picture carries no significance, just thought I should add it since I mentioned 50 Shades. Can’t over-promise and not deliver right? haha… **as I move on….**
We fall in love with the hottest girls on Instagram yet they aren’t the slightest aware of our existence, while you continue to take for granted the 80 percent girl you currently have. The downfall of it all is that once you do get through to that other side you almost suddenly turn green at the sight of what’s really happening. Maybe my initial life was more appealing and fulfilling, maintaining an image that isn’t really of your making is a full time job. The 80/20 rule.
‘I just want a small circle with a sufficient circumference’
We live in a time were we so quick to shave away a piece of ourselves in order to be acceptable to someone else, or to fit into a profession or be it a relationship. Don’t lose yourself amid the craziness of social acceptance, trying too hard will leave you with endless dosages of antidepressants. (Just on that, did you know that 1 in 10 people are affected by depression?). I think I’m happy being crazy and supposedly weird, I blame most people’s regrettable lack of taste I tell you lol.
