The man loves controversy no doubt, he has recently put on exhibition an explicit painting showing a naked Jacob Zuma in a sex act with one of the Gupta brothers, Atul. Out of respect for the ‘presidency’ we have not included the above-mentioned picture in this article, a couple of googles should help you with that one.
He is no stranger to controversy, in 2010 he put on exhibition a painting depicted various international political figures in the nude, this also included a nude Jacob Zuma. Not much critical comment or social media commentary was given to the artwork at the time, it was only later rediscovered when the much talked about ‘spear’ painting by Brett Murray was all over the news.
Social media went abuzz yesterday when most people learned about the painting, some sided with him and commended his work and bravado while some as expected called him out for being disrespectful. Also not sure as to why the compulsion to draw nude political leaders.
