In another failed attempt to loot money from the covers of SAA, OUTA reacted fast to foil this R 256 million tender. We are grateful to the whistle blowers who in the spirit of patriotism saw it fit to act appropriately.
The board of SAA went against the advice of its own financial department to sign with BnP capital. The Bnp capital which was to be appointed to source funds on behalf of the airline and advice on transactions in repaying the R15 billion was later discovered to be without a FSB certificate because it was suspended.
This is just a reminder that a lot of things are wrong in this country; corruption is threatening the future of this country. The question remains who should be fired if the allegations on irregularities are proven to be true, or since we in South Africa who will get a multi-million golden hand shake for failing to perform their duties, lack of accountability is crippling this country. From politics to government officials and entities management this culture will bring our country onto its knees.
But again if the president can get away with a sorry, why should other people who are caught in the wrong side of the law be punished?
Get OUTA here!!
