EFF Checkmates ANC!! Take Collective Responsibility Over Election Performance & Be Punished As A Collective

Like the saying goes don’t judge a book by its cover, this very well relate to EFF and the way it has been underestimated. When it was formed a lot of people maintained it won’t last a year, some even predicted that the national elections held back in 2014 would be the last race they will ever race because after that they would close office with some of its members heading back to the relegation ‘suspension’ benches.

The announcement of their decision regarding coalitions was well anticipated, I can assure you a lot of political analyst and journalist including the ANC itself where waiting to attack the EFF because a coalition with DA would have meant a lot of things that in policy standing the EFF stand for/against. But like they always do they came out tops and stood by their initial decision to distance themselves from ANC but still not form a coalition with DA. The genius in the EFF came out to play and ANC members are surely regretting their decision to choose Zuma over the control of the metros.

How will this work, the EFF decided it will maintain its opposition status but when it comes to voting it will support the DA, even though the CIC joked about punishing the ANC as a collective, the decision cannot be limited to the strong feelings of discontent the EFF has shown towards Zuma; but the failure of the ANC to deal with corruption and the decline in voters confidence are the most common and probable cause for the decision. EFF has said that the voters have spoken and they clearly saying through their votes that they do not want this current ANC management, going into a coalition with them would then mean going against what the people who voted for them wanted.

Now the heat has extended from parliament into the municipality offices, hopefully something tangible will be achieved and services will be delivered and unemployed will be reduced!! DA we watching you.
