The EFF is the ring maker, king maker, or queen maker depending how you look at it, but what that basically means is that being the 3rd largest runner up in the local elections their percentage of the votes can help either DA or ANC be in the majority on several of the hung municipalities in the country. The talks to see that happen aren’t going to be easy both DA and ANC but worse for ANC than the DA.
Before they can even seat on the table for a consideration the EFF has tabled what sounds like an ultimatum. The removal of Jacob Zuma as the president is the number one demand on the list, it might not make sense why Malema he would bring the president into the metro talks but if we consult our history books all the explanations are there written in black and white.
“I put him in that position and I will remove him” that was a promise Julius Malema made years back when he was still in the ANC.
A few months ago Malema and the EFF staged a walk out in parliament refusing to be addressed by Jacob Zuma saying they will only come back when he is no longer the president of RSA. We have to be honest, their demand is justified. The ANC can look at this as a favor done unto them by the EFF, giving them a good excuse to get rid of the man. If they choose to keep him as the president the people of South Africa will see where they stand with the ANC.
The ANC has been stubborn for way too long; they can’t pretend anymore that there is more to this set-up than the eyes can see. The man is everything that can go wrong with a country, rapist, thief, corrupt, uneducated and arrogant. If the ANC can’t do it for the coalition can they at least do it for Khwezi or do it for the sake of all sane civilians who are tired of this broken man.
