The mighty ANC learned that the hard way, they learned in the past few days that arrogance, a lot of money and being 104 years don’t mean anything if you do not represent the people. The ANC planned a victory party that they later cancelled due to the horrifying performance in the local elections. They in not so many words admitted there is nothing to celebrate about the outcomes of the elections especially in Gauteng and the other big metros in South Africa.
Who plans a party before they win in this world? The ANC believe winning is an obvious thing for them, they believe people will keep voting for them no matter what. This attitude drove them to a point where they don’t listen to anyone because they think they are bigger than the people who vote for them. I hope they won’t stop at just cancelling the party but will do a full attitude make over, I hope they realize all this is nothing but their own doing. No one wanted E-toll, everyone wanted Zuma gone, Nkandla is the Elephant in the room and corruption is out of control.
To the ANCWL and ANCYL you can do better, hopefully the cancelled party will give you enough time to find yourselves again, serve the people you are supposed to represent in the ANC, we a cant have an anti youth ANCYL and anti women ANCWL.
