Celebration of Life And All Things Good in partnership with OverExposed Photography will be celebrating women’s month by hosting an event that willresult in an exhibition and online campaign that will highlight the beauty that is the female body. The campaign is called Redefining Beauty.
August is the month dedicated to celebrating women and through this partnership we will be doing that in an unconventional way. Every woman is unique in structure and form but the Media world has over the years defined what women should see as beautiful and so this campaign seeks to challenge that perception by giving average women the opportunity to define their own beauty and this will be done through photography.
Thirty (30) ladies of different body sizes, types and shapes have been invited to be part of this Photographic campaign. The objective of the event is to produce a collection of portraits that show and highlight the beauty of different kinds of female body shapes. This will be done as a photo-shoot with women in white underwear. The questions we seek to pose with this campaign are: What is beauty, how do women define it and how does that affect their esteem?
