Kendrick Lamar told us that something was coming on April 7. The last line of “The Heart Part 4” has the rapper firing off a warning shot. “Y’all got till April the 7th to get ya’ll shit together.”
While many took that to mean we would be getting a new album on April 7, it appears that is not the case. It seems what was announced was the actual release date for the rapper’s upcoming album, which is now expected to drop on April 14.
The album has appeared for pre-order on iTunes now, where it is currently listed as ALBUM, although it seems unlikely that that’s the official title.
There are 14 tracks listed, including “Humble,” which was released last week. All of the other tracks go unnamed. Interestingly, “The Heart Part 4” does not appear on the tracklist. See Below for tracklist.
