Got This Girl That Goes To Wits, She Corrects All My Slang and Makes Sure I Speak Good

After seeing the recent research findings from ‘The Martha Effect: The compounding female advantage in South African higher education’, by Dr Nic Spaull and Hendrik van Broekhuizen, I thought to myself, the male species is at a risk of losing its competitive advantage, or more politically correct, losing its long standing privilege. For a long long time it was agreed and concluded that guys are smarter than girls and this was represented by things like the type of jobs and positions women held and the level of pay they receive for doing the same job as their male counterparts.

Seems the pendulum has swung, we not as smart as we thought we were. A recent study has shown that women are actually smarter than men. Let’s get to it and drill down on what I find to be somewhat shocking stats… sighs…

Relative to their counterparts, the finding are that women qualify for University 25% more than guys. 34% more of women enroll into university than men. 56% more women obtain a bachelor’s degree than their counterparts.

The above means that for every guy that obtains a bachelor degree, there are 2 more ladies that graduate with a bachelors.

Phenomenal isn’t it? Fellow brothers, our species is fast headed for an IQ extinction, these women are fast becoming better than us at almost everything. Do we sit and let this happen? Or take up the challenge and attempt to bring back some dignity to our species?

We seem to be less interested in things that require effort and time. Guys these days would rather chill by the park and smoke hubbly while their female counterparts are sweating their brains out in class. Having held this superior role for the longest time, it seems we have started taking it for granted. The male species has gotten complacent over the past years.

The researchers say they don’t yet know why this is the case but the best international evidence points to the fact that girls perform better when it comes to things such as self-control‚ self-motivation‚ dependability‚ sociability‚ perceptions of self-worth‚ locus of control‚ time-preference and delayed gratification.

They add that any conversation about ‘gender equality’ needs to take into account the disadvantage faced by boys at school and university‚ but also why this reverses when one moves into the labour market.

But anyway I got this girl who goes to wits, she corrects all my slang and make sure I speak good.
