Your Excellency, as patriotic and humble men of this great nation, we write this letter with heavy hearts.
Your Excellency, you know for a fact that from the beginning of the beginning, we have never complained on anything, despite being overlooked on a number of things. Our counterparts, the women have a ministry dedicated to them, men have nothing.
Women have a mother’s day dedicated to them, we have nothing.
Women have Women’s day, a day dedicated to them, men have nothing.
Women have NGOCC, Women For Change, and a thousand NGOs dedicated to serve their interests, men have nothing. Even Valentine’s day, a day dedicated to love, has been turned into a women’s day.
Your Excellency, you can see that despite men having nothing, and women having everything, we have never complained.
Your Excellency, today, we write to you to ask for one thing and one thing only, please, do not allow your minister Sumaili to deny us the chance to watch Zodwa Wabantu in our lifetime.
Your Excellency, you will appreciate that Zodwa Wabantu is the only human being that has united all Zambian Men across ethnic and political lines in recent history.
We wait for your intervation on this very important national matter.
