Where do I start????
So my boy calls me up and tells me he’s swinging by to my place to chill – little did I know that he was bringing his girlfriend along.
Anyway – he rings me up as he was by the complex gate and I open for him from my balcony and from my view I could see that he was with his girlfriend. Hops out the car and eventually they rock up to my front door.
Immediately as they got into the house, my boy’s girlfriend’s phone starts shooting off – going crazy with Whatsapp messages and other notifications coming in. The awkward part was that he was holding her phone and immediately realised that it suddenly had a WiFi connection and my boy knew that my house is a Data galore free zone as Telkom had my back always. I basically had unlimited WiFi okay.
But the question now was, how the hell does his girl have my password as its her first time coming over to my place??? He looks at me and then his girl and back at me – we all definitely had guilty faces on.
Weird and awkward I tell you. Had I not snitched out the elephant in the room I would now be writing this with 2 blue eyes, a possibly broken jaw, bruised face and being without a best friend.

To get him to calm down I had to explain myself quick and in the process ruin the planned surprise we had in store for him. See what had happened was, the following week was his 30th birthday and his lady wanted to hook up a surprise birthday party at my place because the complex he stayed by had unreasonably strict noise restrictions and mine was pretty chilled so long as you bought the security guard a cold drink once in a while.
She had been to my place three days ago to brainstorm with me as to what to have at the party and the perfect gift for him as I had known him for over 10 years and in the process she had asked for my WiFi password so she could do a few Googles on the net of what to get him…
