Never in a million years did I imagine ever writing a letter to thank you, for as a white South African you’ve made my skin crawl with your anti-White, anti-Boer, Kill-the-Boer, racist, nationalisation and other rhetoric.
I voted for the DA, so why do I want to thank you?
Because you, Julius, with the help of the EFF, did what no one would have foreseen a few years back – you more-or-less single-handedly brought the mighty ANC back down to earth.
Up until you and others formed the EFF, black people in general were too afraid to criticise the ANC, their policies, their mistakes and their illegal activities.
If a black person dared criticise, they were labelled as traitors to the struggle – traitors to the colour of their skin. Individuals also had this blind allegiance to the ANC. As one of my staff members explained to me a few years ago, “I know the government is doing bad things, but it is in my blood to vote ANC.” If whites criticised they were labelled “racists”.
Which left the guilty parties in the ANC, and their cronies, to do as they damn well please.
I don’t need to go into all the detail, because thankfully, due to you, the EFF and the DA, every South African – black, white, brown and yellow – now know and understand how this country was not only raped and plundered financially, but also how it was miss-managed from the top tiers of government down to local level.
For too long the uninformed masses were lied to, fed pure nonsense and made promises that could not be kept – all by the so-called “heroes of the struggle”.
You changed all that.
Today the masses know that the only “struggle” now is to get a clean government that can deliver services to the nation.
Due to you the mighty have fallen. You are the one who was not afraid to stand up, criticise and shout, “Enough is enough!” You were the one who exposed Zuma and his cronies by not backing off.
Yes, one can argue about your reasons, but I don’t give a damn about them. Maybe fate intervened to save our country from literally falling into an abyss. Maybe some day history will reflect that Julius Sello Malema changed the face of South African politics – for the better. Where there is life, there is hope.
As for the DA – their supporters also need to thank you. Without the EFF garnering 11.64% of the vote, the DA would not have obtained the majority in Tshwane. But, without taking anything away from the DA, it’s not only Tshwane where you made a difference – if it wasn’t for the fact that the you managed to convince so many voters of how useless and corrupt elements within the ANC and government were, we may not have seen such a big swing away from the ANC to the DA in many of the voting districts country wide. The DA may debate your influence, but I’ll stake my overdraft on it.
I know that in the very near future you will again make my skin crawl, but be that as it may, I have noticed a change in you. You seem a more “mature” politician with an “older” head on your shoulders compared to a few years ago, so maybe there is hope.
For now, I need to thank you on behalf of all South Africans, black and white, who share my sentiments and feel like I do.
You’ve made millions of South Africans, both EFF and DA supporters, very happy indeed, whether you meant to or not.
Maybe some day you will make us proud and happy. Who knows?

Thank you for thanking Julius.Just remember he is also saying to you white people to bring the land back.So don’t be selective in your thanksgiving to him.As you say one day we will wake up and say that it was Julius Sello Malema who took the land back from the whites to black people.He is hated by the ANC and by the White peoples.That to me says that he is an agent of truth and he says the truth to the whites and the Blacks(ANC) without fear.

I’m a very loyal member of the ANC and I’m unapologetic for that,with that been said however,I’m utterly disgusted by my movement’s arrogance and its selfish NEC that defends wrong-doings by Mr.President.I’m not going to get into the removal of Mr President,cause true politicians understand that you don’t just wake up and remove the President.It was done to our beloved former President and repaeting it will be a sign of weakness by the ANC,that’s what the ANC is trying to protect,but sadly at the expense of the poor and compatriots of this country……Well done to the DA and EFF.ANC has liberated us and I greatly appreciate that,but let the political that is fit to run the government be allowed to do so.School are being burnt from left to right,crime statistics are alarming,the GDP is ridiculous,do I have to mention the education…Nah…..now can we dab to a better living for all please.If the DA also comes with white supremacy mentality,we will deal with it…as for the EFF….we need it,to be just where it is….#every pitbul needs a chiwawa.

Kak…are we only seeing that our beloved country has been raped and plundered now? The whites did that a long time ago…so all I want to thank Julius for is for being such a traitor to stand with the whites the plundered & raped our beloved country & making them feel better than the ANC government, when they are actually worst off.
The struggle really is about survival. Black white, yellow, whatever the race, its about feeding your family and providing a secure future for your kids… The state of South Africa, you just need to look across the border to Zimbabwe to understand poor leadership can bring a country to its knees… Racism, its so tiring to hear people call racism when a white person expresses his opinion, just like the rest of us, they are deeply concerned and thank you to the previous ANC regime, that fought for freedom of speech, that freedom applies to all that live in this country. As a nation we need to grow in every way possible, and start to engage or the matter at head and not attach each other, simply for holding a view.
